Feeling Fire
This was my first track release for Bentley Records. I had access to beats designed by their producers and this was the tipping point. I did not use any prior lyrics on it, they came out on top of the beat organically. I wanted to start fresh for them and also make sure my flowing skills were still on point.
This track was more just a demonstration of what listeners could expect from me more than anything else. It was a lot of fun making this track. Adribeatz really challenged me to step up to the plate to match the production quality. I feel like it came out strong and I love this track very much.

Zig-Zag Zones
Zig-Zag Zones tells a story of determination, following dreams, and traveling.
I set out on an adventure to find a suitable place to grow as a human and artist. I found Denver after driving coast to coast several times. It was a wonderful adventure. It was not always easy, but it certainly was worth every second.
“Don’t bend, be strength, don’t walk, their way, just miles, to gain, break stride, no way, stand tall, be brave, long road, fly away. Zig zag zones, got me, miles from home, dusty back roads, spread out to windiest roads, waves crash down, tossed us around, brought us out to sea had to get our feet back ground.“

Lighthouse
Again, I wanted to deliver for Bentley Records to show my gratitude for them signing me to their label. I was mashing music out as an independent artist, and after I got signed, I felt so very blessed. Adribeats delivered on this track something fierce, and it really gave me the fuel to fly at it in hyper-speed.
After listening to the beat on repeat for some time, the words just kind of fell into place. I initially did not rap over the singing parts, it was just the “little light of mine chorus”. I felt like something was missing, so I tinkered with it for a few days.
Finally, after hearing it hundreds of times, I knew what to do. I went home to my studio and put the finishing touches on it for Bentley Records to master and publish.
Divinity and I have a very special relationship, and I feel honored to have made this track for the lightness. I have a lyric video in the works and it will be out soon. Stay tuned.

Love Song

Let’s take a pause for the Graphics Team at Bentley Records, they are constantly on fire. They bring the heat for real. I merely paint a picture with words and they bring it to life with style and grace. I have a tremendous amount of appreciation for them and a bunch of respect for their artistic abilities.
Love Song was another track that the words just fell out on top of it. For this one, I wanted to do something special but was not certain the direction I wanted to take.
I was very inspired by the beat to show up on the microphone. On beats like this, there is no half stepping allowed whatsoever. It was a go full stride or go home type of beat, so I could not even play around with it. THE TROOTH I.T. is a monster in the studio. Straight up.
I went to my favorite nature spot near my home and went attack mode on it with my headphones, pad and pen, and this heat.
I feel really good about this song because I think that many different people can connect with it. There is good advice in it for myself, but it is also good advice for any human. It feels good to make content that people can connect with.
I would like to say just for the record that it is important for us to find people to be involved with romantically to have similar likes and interests as us. Just because somebody is cute, does not mean that they are supposed to be in our lives. Matters of the heart are an unnameable beast, but let’s try to use some sense out there in the field. Stay Gone

Rod Jones put the thunder on this beat, and really forced me to bring my A+ game to hang in there with the super fire beat. Stay Gone is special track full of insight on life. I am far from perfect, and I have made some awful, terrible, ratchet mistakes in my life, but I learned from them all, and corrected my stance after each occurrence.
I just like to talk about growth and speak on things that could potentially resonate with a listener to inspire them to think strong, positive, and correct. I do not think I am better than anyone, even one person. I just try to take some of the lessons that I have learned in life and share them.

Lifted
Ego aside. Lifted slaps. It is a sexy joint that has been living inside of me for a long time. It is an intelligent song because there is some code sprinkled in there that will go over most peoples heads, and that is okay.
THE TROOTH I.T. came with that crunch on the production on it. When I was listening to it and developing the flow, I was in complete awe. I felt like I was coming at em’ like Drake Bird with this one.
Seriously speaking, this was a statement track that you can thank the beat for, because it is the showcase. Definitively one of my favorite tracks out of the group. I was able to hop on this beat and iterate a message to the people about what it is we are doing, and what we are bringing to the table.
We deliver a message with this song that does not leave any room for misinterpretation. Hopefully you enjoy listening as much as we enjoyed bringing it to life.

This Thing Of Ours
Another fantastic beat from the TROOTH I.T. pulled the words from me. The music production is next level. I wanted to tap into the importance of individualism on it. I know it is easy to flow with the mainstream and do like everyone else, but, the sensational Hip-Hop & Neo Soul group, The Roots, said it best, when they said, “Never do What They do”.
